| | Alex Ku (director) and David Chan (producer) are casting for their latest movie - 66,000 MPH. This is a timely story about illegal immigration and how one woman must choose between a life as a garment worker or prostitution. The movie stars Qian Yi, the famous opera singer from Lincoln Center's Peony Pavilion, who just finished DARK MATTER with Meryl Streep.
We are casting for the following roles:
- 25-30 Asian women who can play recent immigrants. - Chinese Males - 10-12 Asian men who can play gangsters, age 20-35. - White Males - 5-8 business executives, age 25+ - Rice Rocket - Sup'd up Japanese car (ala "The Fast and The Furious")
WHY - Fun! You have an opportunity to be immortalized in film - Fame! An opportunity to share the screen with a famous actress - Food. We'll feed you during the shoot. - Fortune. There's no pay, but you will see your name in the credits and get a copy of the movie.
WHEN - Filming is from 7/22-7/31. We will only need you for a few hours for just one of the days, so please advise us of your availability (i.e., weekends only, after work, etc.).
